Praised for her “musical verve” (New York Classical Review) and “soaring violin” by the Chicago Classical Review, GRAMMY-nominated violinist Charlene Kluegel has established herself as a versatile artist and dedicated educator.
Ms. Kluegel has concertized throughout North America, Europe, and China at venues such as the Strathmore, the Kennedy Center, the Zurich Tonhalle, the Banff Centre, and Orchestra Hall Detroit. She has collaborated with artists such as Robert McDuffie, the Cuarteto Casals, Frank Huang, Sara Laimon, and Michael Kannen. In 2013, she gave the North-American premiere of Osamu Katsuki’s “Poem” for solo violin.
